The MSc in International Finance
Broadly speaking, there are two kinds of second degree programs available in Europe, the MBA, which stands for Masters in Business Administration, and the MSc in Business, which is often confused with the MBA. You may be forgiven for wondering what is the difference between an MBA and a Masters in Business.
Not an MBA
The real difference is that the MBA requires significant work experience, preferably demonstrated management potential as proved by promotion and at least one direct report. Meanwhile, a Master's program will accept students fresh out of university with no work experience.
GMAT
A second consideration is the GMAT score. Master's programs in the Netherlands require a good academic record from a BSc degree in a Business study. Applicants with a BA from a non-business study, or ones with too-low marks, will be asked for a GMAT score between 550 and 600, depending on the university in question.
